The Oregonian Way | Farmers Markets
The Truong family
For Oregonians, Saturdays mean a visit to the local farmers market. For Aaron and Natalie, what began as a summer experiment with Hapa Pizza soon grew into something more. They found a supportive community of fellow vendors, all cheering each other on.
Now, that small dream has turned into a reality. Hapa Pizza has its own brick-and-mortar restaurant, a symbol of their journey from a market stand to a permanent part of the local food scene.

More than a drink
mCmahon family
You can't make wine in a day, just as you can't rush the journey of raising a family. For the McMahon family, winemaking is deeply intertwined with their lives, reflecting the same patience and dedication they pour into raising their daughter. For Kenny and Allison, there's a special joy in nurturing both their family and their wine business. Along this journey, they’ve cultivated not just exceptional wines but also countless lasting relationships that enrich their lives.
amylk
Amy Colville endured an undiagnosed illness characterized by severe eczema, which took a toll on her skin and hair. Amidst this challenging period, she faced significant stress and sorrow, including the loss of her father, a divorce, and the responsibility of raising four children within just eight years.
In her journey toward healing, Amy sought solace in finding a lactose-free milk alternative. Her discovery marked a turning point in her health journey.
We aim to capture the essence of Amy's discovery with a nostalgic, reflective tone, infused with brightness and vibrancy.

Aji fish butchery
jeff kim
It all started with an idea during the pandemic. Jeff Kim was receiving frequent calls at his restaurant asking where to get sushi-grade fish, decided to take matters into his own hands and start his own fish butcher service. This venture was inspired by cherished memories of eating raw fish with his grandmother and mother. Now, Jeff aims to help others create similar memories around the table, centered on the high-quality fish he passionately serves.
